Allthecooks Help Google Tease Glass Ahead of Launch

Wearable tech got a jolt to its gyro-sensor today in San Francisco when several tech reporters and developers got an early sneak peek at the Glass Developer Kit (GDK).

Since MaintainPR client Allthecooks has some mind blowing Glassware on the way (stay tuned...ahem..Holiday cooking fans...) Co-Founders and close friends SIlvia Curioni and Rafael Sanches were on hand to walk the lucky reporters through their vision of the kitchen of the future, as seen through Google Glass.

Here is what Wired's Mat Honan had to say about Allthecooks via his Gadget Lab post today:

One of the other promises Glass has, so far, truly failed to deliver on is the ability to do something else with your hands while still getting data updates from the device. There’s been much speculation how Glass may one day be used in the operating room. But AllTheCooks shows how remarkably useful it can be in the kitchen. You can simply play the steps back without taking your attention away from what you’re doing. You don’t have to worry about greasy fingers on a tablet, or printed page. Meanwhile, filming step-by-step instructions without using your hands promises to be something that all manner of apps will be able to take advantage of.

Check out all the coverage of the event, including Allthecooks' new website on the sites below!

Hublished Officially Launches -- Makes Webinars Cool

MaintainPR client Hublished first registered on the New York City tech scene after the founders (students just entering their Senior terms at NYU and Rutgers) were featured on TechCrunch for winning FirstMark Capital’s Director, Lawrence Lenihan’s salary in his competition, “Ready, FIRE!, Aim.”

Coming from a B2B content marketing background through my work with Econsultancy, their idea to create a "love child" out of mashing up Eventbrite, LinkedIn and Yelp with a focus on webinars was music to my ears for a niche that has stagnated to say the least.

Check out some of the great launch coverage we secured below.
